Hi Samantha, I just wanted to say a huge, big thank you for such a heartfelt, beautiful service. Everyone that attended said it was an amazing send off. Sunshine, tears and best of all laughter. You are an amazing lady and that day will stay with us forever. Thank you so much, Karen. xx

The funeral of Micheal Charles Burns 7 March 2022 with Kirby Cross and Frinton Funeral Services (West and Coe) at Seven Hills Crematorium
I wanted to do this review for Samantha as without her being there to help us the day would not have been the same. From the moment Samantha came to my mum's house and went through with us the service, and wanting to know all about my father who had sadly passed away. xx
Samantha was so pleasant and understanding and made us feel so at ease, she was fantastic even through the weeks waiting for the funeral was in touch with words of warmth and letting us know that she was there for all of us as a family. The service could not have gone any better, as sad a day as it was, we was told by our family and friends that it was one of the best services that they had been to, it was all about dad and his life and family and friends. We showed photos of dad and Samantha read words of wisdom and strength. Thank you so much Samantha from start to finish we have been truly thankful to you and to top it off my dad would have loved you lol. xx

Jeannette Ann Brunt’s celebration of life 24 February 2022 I was faced with the daunting task of having to organise my dear mum’s funeral when she passed away on 12th January. Dealing with the grief of her passing was bad enough but I really did not know which way to turn when it came to organising her funeral, my final farewell to her, such an important day. Fortunately, I knew of a celebrant, also a personal friend, Samantha Boys, who I actually went to school with. Samantha took the worry of the funeral away from me and created a very personal tribute to my mum, a real celebration of her life which I was so proud of on the day. Samantha and Graham the funeral director from East of England Co-op between them ensured everything ran smoothly and that my mum’s final farewell was a beautiful experience. After the ceremony we had a wake at my mum’s business premises with a delicious buffet prepared by Scott from Jacos Coffee House in Clacton on Sea. Looking back on the day, which I was of course dreading, I really don’t see how we could have given my dear mum a better send off. Everyone at the wake said what a beautiful ceremony it was and that it was such a lovely reflection of my mum. So I would like to thank Samantha, Graham and Scott for all their help and support in making my mum’s funeral so special.

Sam was so professional and caring when helping me create the perfect service for my dad. Our appointment was full of laughs, smiles and even when we were dealing with sad parts of information, I didn't feel like I was talking to a celebrant, I thought I was having a chat with a close friend/family.
She made me feel as ease.
On the days before the service she gave me a call to see how I was doing and if there were any changes or anything new.
Communication was fantastic. Family and friends agreed that Sam's tribute to dad was perfect and spot on and they felt that she really got dad's personality and life across to the people who were there.
You never know I could be back to you Sam when it's my time for a wedding or even a baby naming service.

My Husband Dave sadly passed away on 1st January 2022 and I was put in touch with Sam as we we were looking for a celebrant to carry out his service. When Sam came to see me, she put me at ease immediately and I was able to reminisce about the wonderful times I had shared with Dave and we began to put together a service that reflected his life perfectly. During the lead up to the funeral, Sam was in regular contact to ensure everything was just as I wanted it to be and she also came to visit me after just checking that I was coping too. Sam is a lovely, kind and caring lady and I am so happy that I chose her to play such an important role at Dave’s funeral. As a family we could not have asked for more. A massive thank you from Margaret, David, Maggie, Steve and families.

My husband passed Joe passed away on the 25th November 2021 and Samantha was the celebrant who contacted me about doing Joe's service. From the start Samantha was so lovely, caring and professional. She came to see me before the funeral and after the funeral and rang inbetween, constantly asking how I was and updating me on the service. Samantha listened to what I wanted and put the whole service together and after presented it to me in a folder as a keepsake. Samantha is such a caring, lovely lady and without her guidance, love and support I would have struggled with it. Thankyou Sam from the bottom of my heart for everything you done to make Joe's funeral just a little but easier to bear. You are amazing. Xx

What can I say about this wonderful woman. My father sadly passed away last month and if you’ve ever had to arrange a funeral it’s really not fun. It’s also incredibly hard when you have no idea what to do, when to do it, what to write for the eulogy, what you want in a service and more. Having felt so overwhelmed by the prospect of deciding everything I got a call from a lady who introduced herself after beautifully sending her heart felt condolences. We had arranged to meet up at my house and after 5 minutes of talking with her my nerves and anxiety was gone. Samantha explained exactly what her role was and what she will be doing, and asked me what my thoughts were and asked me about my dad. Well the tears came, I opened up about every memory I could think of and just how amazing my dad was. After more discussion about the service I felt completely at ease that I had someone who really listened about my stories of dad and she understood just how important he was to me and how important his last day needed to be. Samantha was at the end of the phone and the communication was amazing. She would send things over via email like the service and what she wrote, if it wasn’t quite right we’d discuss it and she’d go and make changes. She popped round with the a folder containing everything she wrote about dad and I honestly couldn’t have written it better myself. In her closing statement about remembering Roy she captured everything about my dad beautifully. Leading up the funeral I had spoken to her several times and she helped me with the eulogy, she talked me through some things, timing etc and answered any questions I had. She helped me more than I think she ever realised. The day of the funeral went perfectly, Samantha was there to greet us and did everything she said she’d do. She spoke clearly, articulately and with compassion. She didn’t know my dad but you’d never have known that as she spoke about him. Above all she was very personable yet incredibly professional. Samantha along with everything else made my dads last day a beautiful one. I hope I don’t have to plan another funeral for a long long time, but this lady will be my first choice. Thank you so much.

The loss of my dear sister in law in January was very sudden and although she was very ill her passing was not expected so soon. The shock to the family was huge and the organisation of the funeral traumatic obviously complicated by the Covid restrictions. We were dreading the service at the crematorium but Samantha lead the occasion professionally and her presentation of Heather’s life was first class, highlighting the positive parts of her life and thereby leaving a good memory in the minds of all family and friends who attended. Whatever occasion you wish to be conducted by a Celebrant I can heartily recommend Samantha to you. She made sure that everything went smoothly which reduced the stress of the situation for us all.

Samantha was the celebrant for our wedding this weekend. What an amazing job she did. Samantha worked tirelessly on the build up to the wedding, compiling a detailed account of how we met and how we feel about each other , what our future dreams are and what our expectations of how the wedding should be. With this she put together a beautiful real life fairytale story. We were included at all stages of the planning to ensure we were entirely happy. We had the choice of personal vows , which Samantha wrote for us, or repeated verse which is what we chose. Samantha gives 100% at every stage. On the day she was punctual and professional, her delivery was faultless , she was confident respectful and warm. Samantha has a calming manner , she made us feel relaxed and helped us overcome our nerves. I would highly recommended Samantha celebrant .Have you opened a new location, redesigned your shop, or added a new product or service? Don't keep it to yourself, let folks know.

Recently I had the great pleasure of working with Samantha at a wedding ceremony. With her warm nature, friendly and kindness personality, she had made the bride and groom and the guests all very relaxed and at ease. Everyone were kept very happy during the service. She is so professional and great at what she does. I would have no hesitation recommending Samantha to anyone.
